For data custodians · Untuk wali data
We host, version and label.
We never own.
Sumber exists so the numbers Indonesian institutions publish are easier to find, cite and trust — with the institution’s name on every cell. If you produce public data, this page is the whole deal, in one screen.
The licence contract
Every source enters the catalogue under an explicit mode recorded in our methodology. Series counts below are frozen at the methodology’s vintage (v1.0 · 2026-05) — live counts per source are on /coverage.
| Custodian | Series | Licence type | Sumber mode |
|---|---|---|---|
| BPS | 5,073 | Public, attribution required | Redistribute with attribution |
| IDX | 225 | Public, member-of-record | Display + cite, no raw redistribution |
| Bank Indonesia | 68 | Public domain (policy data) | Redistribute with attribution |
| PIHPS | 10 | Public, attribution required | Redistribute with attribution |
The full licence, vintage and citation rules live in /methodology. The short version: attribution is non-removable, revisions are never silent, and “display-only” means exactly that.
Three questions custodians ask
- What does Sumber do with our data?
- We ingest your published series on a schedule, store every publication as its own vintage (revisions never overwrite history), attach bilingual labels and full provenance, and serve it through one documented API. Every number a reader sees carries your name and links back to you.
- Do we lose control or ownership?
- No. Sumber's licence table records your terms per source, and the API enforces them — attribution-required sources are always cited; display-only sources are never redistributed raw. If you ask us to change a mode or remove a series, that is a configuration change, not a negotiation.
- What does it cost us?
- Nothing. Custodianship is the supply side of a public data utility — our commercial tiers charge heavy API consumers, never the institutions that produce the data. What you get in return: usage visibility, error reports from our validation pipeline, and an audience of analysts reading your data with your name on it.
Talk to us
One email starts it. Tell us what you publish and where; we come back with a licence-mode proposal and a pilot ingest plan — usually within the week.
